Door settings

The door settings screen (gear icon to the right of the door icon) has a few great settings.

You can change the door icon to various types of doors or gates.

You can change the name you assign to the door.

You can change the number of pulses Tailwind sends to your garage door opener to trigger it. Please note that this setting should remain at 1 pulse unless you verify you have one of the extremely rare door openers on the market that requires 2 pulses. In our experience, well over 99% of openers use 1 pulse

You can change the length / duration of the pulse. This is handy if you have a wall control that displays the time. A pulse that is too long can reset the clock. A pulse that is too short won't trigger the door. Tailwind allows you to adjust this pulse time for the open and close commands separately. In addition, some garage door openers can be "finicky" about the pulse duration and just don't want to work with the standard preset pulse time of 1500mS. That's ok, Tailwind allows you to adjust it easily.
